We imagine you, like us, take the less travelled path, enjoy the unusual and treasure human contact in the places they visit.
We love to travel too, however we're not so arrogant as to think that we know best. And while we welcome the explosive growth of sites like Trip Advisor we keep a close watch on respected sources of information - like Mr & Mrs Smith, i-traveller, Tablet Hotels, Best Loved Hotels - as well as a few less well known but equally useful sources of our own.
What does this mean for you? You don't have to put in the hard work keeping up to date with the best deal on a reliable luxury boutique hotel in London, or a great ski chalet in Chamonix. You don't have to keep your own database of properties to visit. Of course we can't do it all. We've mastered a few trades rather than dabbling in all. So the next time you're planning to visit one Paris, London, The Alps or New York give us a try.
